    TRCA's Annual Halloween Block Party

This year's block party was another great success! It was a beautiful afternoon for neighbors and families. Children were in costume and joined the band in a parade down West View Terrace. Delicious BBQ by Rocklands and treats by our neighbors were on the menu. Two of our resident photographers captured the
    event in these colorful photos

The event was free of charge to all current TRCA members ($15 a year/household). Dues were collected
at the party but there is still an opporunity to donate. Click here to pay your annual dues.

    Park Clean-up Volunteers Wanted

Lauren Trabert, a TRCA Executive Committee member, is once again heading up our efforts as part of the Alexandria City's Adopt-a-Park program for Angel Park (201 West Taylor Run Parkway), Chinquapin
Park (3210 King Street), and our smallest area park at 701 Upland Place. Each weekend between April and November, members of the TRCA are cleaning up these parks as part of the city's beautification efforts
and a city-wide competition for funds so that we may improve the open spaces of Taylor Run. Last year,
the TRCA earned $1,865 for its clean-up efforts. Email Lauren (laurentrabert@gmail.com) if you are
interested in signing up. She sends out an informative email on the Thursday prior to your scheduled clean-up.
